It has been a great year here at deakin anime club.
Event wise, we’ve tried to up our game from last year, holding more events, and some new ones, the most liked of which is the Hot spring event in April, which we hope to do again next year. A big thank you to the Japanese Australian Social Society at Deakin for collaborating with us, we hope to work with you again for years to come.
During Trimester 2, we started dedicating more time for activities and social time at the club. We felt that during T1 there wasn’t enough time to talk about all the anime we had going, or for newcomers and others to get to know each other. In 2018, we hope to continue with increased social activity during club meetings, so as to continually build our club community.
